Kris attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts’ High School program and graduated with a Special Concentration in Ballet. During his summers, Kris attended the dance intensives at American Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet. He was also selected for the Broadway Theatre Project where he was given the opportunity to work with the legendary tap dancer Gregory Hines.

After high school, Kris returned to his first love of musical theatre.  He graduated college with a BFA in Music Theatre from Elon University, considered one of the top musical theatre programs in the country. Aside from classical, theatrical, and tap dance styles, Kris has also trained extensively in ballroom/latin dance, getting to work with Tony Dovolani and the brothers Max and Val Chmerkovsky from the hit ABC television show, Dancing With The Stars.

Kris is a proud member of both Actor’s Equity Association (AEA), the union representing professional stage actors, and the Screen Actors Guild(SAG), which represents professional film and television performers. Some of Kris’ professional credits include: The Wizard of Oz; Broadway National Tour, Children of Eden at New Jersey’s Papermill Playhouse, Fred Astaire in Blowing Rock Stage Company’s Backwards in High Heels; The Musical Story of Ginger Rogers, The Smoky Mountain Opry, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, and Dollywood and Opryland theme parks.
